It’s not common for me to fall in love at first sight, but I do with this pen. The Pilot Vanishing Point Decimo – Nagasawa Limited Edition Kobe Gradation Yuki-gosho Zakura. With the choice of gold or silver trim, this limited edition only has 250 of each colour.
It was my lucky day as I was just browsing facebook, and stumbled upon the post on Nagasawa Umeda-Chayamachi page. I immediately reserved the gold trim in F nib.
This is actually my first Vanishing Point, and my first non-Kakuno pilot fountain pen too. It’s not like I don’t want it, but my cheaper pen served me well so I have no reason to buy new pen yet, until now.
Anyway, this got loaded with my workhorse ink — the Pilot Blue-Black ink. From a few writing with it I did today, I think I will be okay with Vanishing Point form factor. The pen come with black cartridge, a CON-40 converter, and also empty cartridge already loaded inside the pen. I didn’t know that, and was pleasantly surprised.
